Inaugural meeting of the HIDB

The inaugural meeting of the HIDB was a wonderful opportunity for the private and public sector to join together and discuss a meaningful and collaborative partnership for Hertfordshire. We were delighted to be joined by so many senior figures from the industry in addition to Leaders and decision-makers from all Local Authorities across Herts.

Patsy Dell of the Hertfordshire Growth Board kicked off the event by welcoming members and setting the scene for things to come. We also heard from Cllr Richard Roberts, Leader of Hertfordshire County Council, Cllr Linda Haysey, Leader of East Herts District Council and Nikki Davies, Managing Director at MPC.

Cllr Roberts was particularly animated in his support for the Board, stating his hopes that it will reinforce and bolster the way we deliver high quality, sustainable growth.
