Tackling resourcing through collaboration: February’s meeting
The format of February’s meeting made for really positive and meaningful engagement between the private and public sector partners. It was great to facilitate smaller workshop sessions where members discussed innovative solutions to the problems they faced.
The importance of trust and communication came through strongly with some great ideas on how to improve private/public sector working. Topics discussed also included PPAs, recruitment, statutory consultees and consistency across the Local Authorities.
In addition to the workshops we also enjoyed hearing from public sector representatives at Dacorum, East Herts, St Albans and Hertfordshire County.
Members came away from the meeting feeling optimistic and inspired, with many joining a ‘Task and Finish’ group aimed at affecting real, positive change on the matter of resourcing in Hertfordshire.
